Our club was sanctioned as chapter of Parrot Heads In Paradise on April 28, 2003. We
then became the 177th club to join the world-wide phlock which now stands at greater
than 200 networked chapters in the US, Canada, and Australia.
In keeping with this tradition, our club, along with having a great time, is up to the
challenge of contributing to raising money and giving our time to local and national
organizations. Throughout the year our members perform several beach clean-ups,
participate in the Right Whale Survey Project, Relay for Life, Alzheimer's Memory Walk
as well as many other charitable and civic activities.
